All camps are held at Chalco Hills Recreation Area, 154^th & Giles Road, Omaha, NE

 

Backyard Explorers Camp

Backyard Explorers is a camp held for Pre-K, ages 4-5.  This camp focuses on water, plants, animals and play.  Children will receive a small snack.  Please let us know about allergies in advance of camp.  Exact pick-up and drop-off locations and additional information will be e-mailed in a confirmation letter closer to the date of camp.  Camp activities will be led by natural resources experts and licensed teachers.  The cost for each camper is $75 per 3 hour, 1 week session.  9am – 12pm June 4-8, 2012.

 

Discovering Nature Camp

Discovering Nature is a camp held for children ages 6-8 years old.  The camp focuses on exploring senses, gardening, wildlife, lake exploration, and camping.  Campers are asked to bring a sack lunch with them 4 of the 5 days, and to wear play clothes as they will be running, jumping, and exploring.  The last day of camp campers will be cooking their own lunch in Dutch Ovens.  Please advise us of any allergies prior to camp.  Additional information will be e-mailed in a confirmation letter closer to the date of camp.  Camp activities will be led by natural resources experts and licensed teachers.  The cost for each camper is $85 for the 1 week session.  9am – 2pm June 18-22, 2012.

Girls in the Wild Camp

This camp is for girls ages 9-14 years old.  The camp focuses on land, water, and skill exploration.  Girls are asked to bring their lunch 2 of the 3 days of camp.  On the last day they will make their own lunch using Dutch Ovens.  During the water exploration girls will have the opportunity to canoe, and spend some time IN the water.  Please advise us of any allergies prior to camp.  Additional information will be e-mailed in a confirmation letter closer to the date of camp.  Camp activities will be led by natural resources experts and licensed teachers.  The cost for each camper is $95 for the 3-day session.  9am – 3pm July 30-August 1, 2012.

 

Boys Challenge Camp

Challenge camp is for boys ages 9-14. This camp focuses on team building, water exploration, and outdoor skills.  Boys are asked to bring their lunch 2 of the 3 days of camp.  On the last day they will make their own lunch using Dutch Ovens.  During the water exploration boys will have the opportunity to canoe, and spend some time IN the water.  Please advise us of any allergies prior to camp.  Additional information will be e-mailed in a confirmation letter closer to the date of camp.  Camp activities will be led by natural resources experts and licensed teachers.  The cost for each camper is $95 for the 3-day session.  9am – 3pm June 27-29, 2012.

 

How to Register

To register for Camp, complete a Camp Registration Form and mail, fax or deliver the form along with the required enrollment fee (Credit Cards are not accepted). Space is limited so please enroll early!

 

 

Cancellation Policy

A $20 administrative fee per camp is charged on cancellations, with the balance returned to you. Cancellations received within five working days of the session will receive no refund.

Our End - Cancellation Policy

If we must cancel a camp due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
