YOUR NRD IN ACTION
This program will give your group a better understanding of the programs and projects of your Natural Resources District. Featured in this "NRD OVERVIEW" is a look at Chalco Hills Recreation Area at Wehrspann Lake, one of the most popular lake-side recreation spots in eastern Nebraska.

PAPIO TRAILS - PATHS OF DISCOVERY
Learn the latest about the NRDs effort to offer safe and scenic hiking and bicycling trails throughout the Omaha metropolitan area.

BACK TO THE RIVER
The Missouri River is no longer a forgotten recreational resource. A new effort is well underway to offer riverfront trails and park improvements along the river. Wildlife is also a big winner in this project to rehabilitate lost wetland habitat along the Missouri from the Platte River north to South Sioux City.

CLASSROOM PRESENTATIONS
In-class speakers and presentations can compliment environmental education topics being taught. One favorite presentation teaches about groundwater and its movement using our groundwater flow model. Times are limited, so please call in advance.
