The Papio-Missouri River NRD has made a strong commitment to its citizens - protecting ground and surface water, slowing the effects of soil erosion, reducing flood threats, creating and protecting wildlife habitat, planting trees and introducing our children to the necessity of living in harmony with our natural world.

Once primarily a rural oriented agency, the Papio-Missouri River NRD has grown to appreciate and meet all natural resources challenges whether they be on our farms or in our cities and towns.
