Marlin Petermann Recreation Area

Marlin Petermann Recreation Area is a flood reduction reservoir project that will be located near 180th & Fort Streets in Elkhorn.

The 106-acre recreation area will feature a 20-acre no-wake lake, traditional and accessible kayak/canoe launches, two-mile loop trail, picnic area, fishing bump outs, and fish stocking.

The recreation area is anticipated to open to the public in Spring 2027.
