Three public hearings took place across the District to gather feedback on the new Groundwater Management Plan, proposed rules and regulations, and the designation of Groundwater Management Areas. Those hearings were held in Dakota City, Tekamah, and Omaha.
The public still has an opportunity to provide feedback on the plan at the upcoming Papio NRD Board of Directors Subcommittee meeting on February 6, 2018, at 6:30 p.m. and Board meeting on February 8, 2018, at 7:00 p.m., located at District headquarters (8901 S. 154 Street, Omaha, NE 68138).
